DYSON: Pet Parent Campaign

Assignment

Convince millennials that Dyson vacuums are worth the investment.

Problem

Dyson is considered one of the highest quality and most reliable vacuum brand on the market. But, it’s almost the most expensive and millennials are skeptical of high-end brands.

Solution

A campaign focused on the pet parent lifestyle. We all remember begging for a puppy or kittin on our birthdays. If you don't you're lying. We bargained away our little souls - bidding promises to clean up all of our messes, to complete every chore, to save up every dime in our piggy banks to care for a beloved pet. Now that we aren't children anymore, we don't need our paren'ts permission - we're capable of having our own.

Furbabies, we mean.

 Illustrations created around the idea of how being a pet parent means facing the same challenges and milestones as raising a child. Teaching them not to poop on the floor, not to run away, don't jump on strangers, etc. It also has endearing moments. Going on road trips together, snuggling in bed at night, and sharing snacks. Raising a pet is no easy fear which is why in the chaos of adulthood, Dyson is here to help along the way. For those, "I ate something funky vomit piles, the ungodly amount of fur shedding, and the pee accidents from excitement when you come home from work.

Social Activation: Pet Influencers

Influencers are one of the best ways to reach an audience. What’s even better than regular influencers? Pet influencers. Pet’s are considered to be man’s best friend. We trust and love our pets so why wouldn’t we not trust these adorable pets that love Dyson?

With the hashtag #PetParentLifestyle, other people are able to show the joys of being a pet parent.
